You must apply for student VISA in your home country during the spring preceding your M1.
Student VISA can be of a long (one year) or short (1 to 6 months) periods.
You must apply for a student VISA as soon as you have the official result of your application process.

You don’t need a VISA for Europe

You may need a VISA for Third Countries

Go to the embassy of the concerned country in your home country and ask for a VISA corresponding to the needed study duration in that country.

VISA application process vary from one country to another but it is usually a process that takes at least 5 weeks.

The first semester of EDAMUS Master programme takes place in France (common courses).

A long stay VISA for France will enable you to travel within Europe (Schengen area) during one year.

Campus France registration is compulsory if:

You are a non-European student needing a visa to study in France (and Europe)
