I was the representative of the EDAMUS program at the Erasmus Mundus Alumni Association from 2015 to 2016. It's an organization founded in 2006 at the initiative of the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission, where the students are given a chance to voice their opinions regarding the programs and stay connected to each other after graduation.

I joined the General Assembly in 2016 at the Università della Svizzera. It was very inspiring to see how the alumni are striving to make a change around the world: some have succeeded in establishing a library in a remote region in Bangladesh, some are working to build green cities and some are starting their own companies as entrepreneurs... I think this is probably what the Erasmus Mundus Program is about, it provides us a platform to meet people who share the same ideals as us and encourages us to work together to reach out for our dreams. Even when we have started our careers in different parts of the world, EMA still reminds us of the bond we have with each other, and the goals we have set out to accomplish.
